Artist Bio

Born in Philadelphia, Blake Redding has been singing and playing just about any musical instrument he could get his hands on since he was fourteen years old.  In high school he played bass, guitar, and sang back-up vocals for future Beach House star Victoria Legrand in a band called LeRoy Brown.  He then attended New York University – studying, living, and working in NYC for eight years.  During this time, music remained an important outlet.  His quiet, intimate songs provided release from the stresses of city life.  In spring 2009 he left a stable career to travel the country with a friend and to record the album swirling in his head.  He currently resides in Santa Cruz, California.
